Why are they changing the CW 90210 so much?

I think that annie's new character is better than last season's she isn't so "bubbly" annoying anymore. But naomi is just a dumb *** didn't u see her wanting to date the guy of cu just to get in college? it's just too much drama in this season that doesn't lead anywhre
