Infatuated with an older man, how to ask him out?

I think there is a bit too much of an age gap in order for him to "respect" you in the way in which a 15 year old girl should be treated. But i guess, it must just be a crush, and maybe he is interested in you, but like some one has already said if he was smart then he wouldn't want to date a 15 year old girl; maybe he is just being polite in that way. It could be just a crush. I think if you date this guy, your parents wouldn't trust you that much anymore.
