What Flat Iron Should I Get?

So I just got my hair cut yesterday with short layers, but it only looks cute when it's straightened. I currently have a 1" Revlon flat iron which is crap. so I'm looking into getting a better quality one. I'm caught between either Helen of Troy or Babyliss. Don't recommend CHI, because I simply can't afford one. I want a 2" one hopefully under $70 although I'm willing to spend a little more. So I'd just like to hear your opinions. Thanks. (:
